The Royal Ciorbă de Potroace
Hotel Palace Sinaia
No great celebration in these lands has ever truly ended at midnight. For generations, after nights of music, dancing, and revelry, guests would gather once more around steaming bowls of ciorbă de potroace, Romania's legendary morning-after remedy, traditionally served to revive weary nobles, travellers, and wedding guests alike. Expect comfort food, mountain air, warm soups, pastries, coffee, stories from the night before, and guests attempting to locate missing gloves. A final gathering before the carriages depart, the crowns are packed away, and ordinary life resumes. Or at least attempts to.
